Apple trees are waking up and buds start to swell up.
Some varieties are more precocious and have even reached the stadium of “mouse ears”, little leaves.
Now apple trees start their push and put all their energy into the leaves, in a second moment into their flowers.
Other fruits do viceversa. Apricots or other stone fruit trees push very early their flowers, just later the energy goes into the leaves.
We can't wait to have our apple trees in full bloom. Standard apple varieties will bloom with snowy white flowers, some varieties with some light red parts. The red-fleshed apple trees will be the eye-catcher with pink flowers. Stay tuned, in some weeks we will show you spectacular pics!
